My name is Bryanna Nurse. I was born May 19th 2005 in Boston MA. to Trinidadian parents. I've always embraced the culture, the food, carnival, and the people. My goal is to have my own franchise and continue to help feed the homeless on Boston streets and shelters. I've learned that helping others and sacrificing time feeding young women at shelters changes the mindset of some young adults when they see someone as young as myself making a point to get out and do something of value. I've always wondered how and why younger children end up in these sitations. Talking with young women, as shy as I am, I think kids today need more love and nurturing in their homes. More understanding and the major one for me, is for parents and kids to LISTEN to one another. I've struggled with my own anxiety issues and I've learned that talking to my parents honestly and often makes a huge difference when your parents are willing to listen. I take pride in the work I've done and continue to do with my mother who has always taught me that helping others in any small way possible will bring many blessings small and large.
