Hello my name is Bryan Dominguez I am 18 years old I go to Abraham Lincoln High school in my senior year . I love to watch the Denver Broncos I am big fan since day one. Every year me my homie go to the Empower field to watch y'all play but we hate when we lose to the raiders. I also like the nuggets as well .I like to hang with my family and spend time with them . It was nice meeting a future Super Bowl Denver Bronco .
I think this would be a great opportunity because I believe it will benefit me and my education because it's very important for me to know who will be paying for education . Because to tell the truth college can be very expensive and financially I'm not too sure If i'm able to pay financially throughout the years for my classes . This scholarship would help me in lots of ways . Probably could get another year of school financially already paid .I have a clear vision for my future and I have a very strong determination to make a difference in my community through social work . I am very committed to my education and my goals, especially all the challenges I have faced . I'm taking my education very seriously and working hard to achieve my goals. I always remind myself that theirs always gonna be obstacles along the way . What matters most is how to overcome those obstacles and continue to grow from it and learn from it .I want to get into the social work career field because it's always been a goal of mine to help people with bad living conditions and help out the community for people in need of homes. Where I grew up, the living environment was deplorable. I used to see unhealthy conditions like mice infestations, roaches and just all around dilapidated apartments and homes. No children should ever have to be living in these conditions. I want to make a difference for my community in improving and increasing access and affordability for better housing. Because it can cause lots of issues and problems in homes .It's very meaningful to me to impact the lives of those who need it the most .
To reach this goal for myself I need to try harder in classes and finish high school strong. I'm very focused on my CE/AP classes and goals and have been taking my time to make sure everything that is required is turned in on time . I am striving to have good grades and making sure my grades are the highest they can be before the deadline. I don't hesitate to reach out and get the advice I need and the support .
I am getting ready for the next steps in my career and making sure I am successful. I´m happy with what I´m studying and excited to apply to colleges. I got accepted to Metropolitan State University of Denver . It's been a goal for mine and making sure I make my parents proud. I'm a first generation student and I'm the first in my family to head to college. Neither one of my parents have ever been to college and received any certificates. I'm the oldest sibling in the family and I want to inspire my younger siblings. I want to show them they can do good in school and to always show a good example that they can do it and to always try and never give up on anything and show them that you can improve yourself and accomplish your goals. And guiding them the right route . Thanks for coming to our school and being a Lincoln Lancer and reaching out to all of the students and helping us out with your scholarship and helping us financially. And thank you again for this opportunity and reaching out to us couldn't thank you enough . Sincerely Bryan Dominguez
