I am a five year veteran of the Navy's nuclear power program who has just been accepted to the University of Florida's medical physics program. I'm interested in becoming a clinical medical physicist who treats cancer with proton therapy. In the distant future, I'd like to become the chief medical physicist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and contribute to a 100% survival rate for childhood cancer.
