Hi! I'm Brooke Burns, an undergraduate student from Ohio who prioritizes academics and unique life experiences. I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in health science - preprofessional health studies at Clemson University in the Honors College, potentially working as a physician assistant or in medical research. I am passionate about the sciences, constantly captivated by everything the world has to offer and discover. While enrolled at Clemson, I hope to get involved in various student organizations and possibly research. I also prioritize being a good person and leaving a positive impact on those around me to make everyone feel included, seen, and heard. In life, I want to challenge myself to grow as a person, live in the moment, and have unique experiences to inspire me. I am very motivated in my academics, always wanting to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible. I have been an involved member of my community and school. I have participated in National Honor Society, Environmental Club, Student Council, Future Medical Professions Club, and a competitive dance team. I have also been named a Clemson University Sponsored National Merit Scholar, Distinguished Graduate, and AP Scholar with Distinction; I have received College Board's National Recognition for Rural and Small Town Students, First Honors in mathematics, an Academic Honors Diploma, and the President's Award for Educational Excellence. As I move forward, I hope to take these experiences and conquer new challenges to learn and grow, striving to be the best possible version of myself.
