I am responsible for the daily operations of a daycare center. I ensure a safe and educational environment for young children, manage teaching staff, develop curricula in coordination with teachers, communicate with parents, and uphold the center’s reputation. July 2021 is the month I started working at this center. From the month of July to the month of October, I facilitated growth in the center and our number of children in the center doubled. I also enhanced the overall learning environment and assisted in achieving the title of a star 2 in the month of October as well. Nine months from October 2021, officially a year from when I started my directing career, the teaching staff and I worked vigilantly to raise our centers standards. Our standards have proven to facilitate growth within the students. The center is currently running as a star four center. I have a passion for working with children who are struggling with behaviors. I enjoy working with families and creating environments where children will be able to thrive and develop. I believe a masters degree in Counseling (Applied Behavior Science) will help me to obtain skills that will make me better suited to make a difference in these children’s lives.
