I am a preclinical oncology scientist with a BS in clinical neuroscience. Alongside my professional work, I am pursuing a part-time, online master's degree through the Harvard Extension School to deepen my knowledge and expertise in immunology and cancer research. Outside of the laboratory, I work part time at a climbing gym and am deeply involved in the community. During my free time I enjoy volunteering for UpEnding Parkinson's, an organization dedicated to helping those facing neurodegenerative disease access therapeutic movement, confidence, and community through adaptive climbing. I also actively support the local homeless shelter by crocheting sustainable sleeping mats with recycled plastic bags. Living with chronic health conditions, including type one diabetes, has shaped my perspective as both a scientist and an advocate, and reinforced my commitment to connect and engage with my community. I am motivated to continue to building a career that bridges science with real-world impact, and I seek opportunities that will help me achieve my goals.
