Growing up in a city known for its crimes and lots of poverty it has inspired me to pursue a degree in business with a focus on helping others. The environment we live in is one of the most dangerous and somewhat polluted areas. And because of it has created so much controversy about the poorness of this city. This city needs businesses and organizations that help one have a second chance at life. Every day on my way to school I at least pass 2 to 3 people living in the streets struggling to maintain one. My plan to use my business degree to benefit my community revolves around the concept of social responsibility and helping others. By focusing on creating value not just for shareholders but for all who need it. I aim to build businesses that prioritize sustainability, diversity, and social impact with not just the rich but the poor. I want to create a business that works on making the city of Baltimore into a good city. One of the key ways in which I intend to benefit my community through my business degree is by establishing and supporting small and medium enterprises which I would call (SMEs) that contribute to local economic development. By providing resources and networking opportunities to help my community, I seek to empower individuals to pursue their business ideas almost like a founding community to start small local businesses as well as create jobs for people that need them and with this in place, it drives economic growth from within. As well as help them from start to finish. Moreover, I plan to leverage my education in business to address social injustices and challenges such as poverty, inequality, and environmental degradation. By developing a business that addresses these issues, I aim to create positive change and improve the quality of life. Many people are starving and in need of a job so that's why with my business degree I hope to also create an organization that helps people start all over. So in conclusion, I hope to benefit from my business degree to the community in a transformative journey that requires dedication, creativity, and a strong sense of social responsibility. By understanding where I come from and how that shapes my direction, I am committed to building businesses that not only generate profit but also drive positive social and environmental impact.
