I love helping people wherever and whenever I can. I find the smallest things in life are the most beautiful and there's no better place to be than outdoors and in the mountains. I love exploring God's earth and can't wait to see where life takes me.

Once Upon a #BookTok Scholarship
Booktok is a disease I don't wish to recover from. I hit the snooze button for the seventh time. Once again, I've made the not so horrible mistake of staying up all night to read books. I've always been a diehard reader. However, recently that obsession has become something far greater. Procrastination and rainy days have become my greatest ally. I love reading more than any person on this entire planet. It's not irregular for me to read up to three books a week. Every person should have that one book. You know, that one book you think of at least twice a week, the one you cried over-not because it was sad- but because it ended. I've found Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens and Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt to be my all time winners. I find myself escaping into the worlds between those pages frequently. Books never fail to show me sunlight on the cloudiest of days. Authors have shown me compassion and love in ways I wasn't sure I'd ever experience. There truly is no way to justify the love a girl has for her books. Just know, in the quietest of moments, during the sleepiest of nights, there are people out there folded between the pages of books fighting dragons and exploring worlds otherwise unbeknownst to man.
My ideal bookshelf is full of just those types of books. Action, adventure, mystery, and love. It’s so hard to name just a few books when genuinely, I enjoy exploring everything. Other than the classics, I've found an absurd amount of books to be to die for. My current shelf favorites consist of Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros, Forensics of a Fairytale by Nicole Scarano, Under Your Scars by Sully Erna, A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St. Clair, and Varity by Colleen Hoover. While I'm sure I could go on for a million more years, these titles are absolute must haves. I feel that these titles were the kickstart to the booktok community and the very essence to a kindle/book girl's soul. Each of these books broke my heart, built my standards, and opened my eyes to a hue of creativity and love I didn't know was possible.
In the end, while the world fights over the next president, when my chores need done and my car needs cleaned, I'll be at home reading my kindle and escaping into a world you wouldn't know of unless you dared to flip the pages. Booktok is a disease I don't wish to recover from.
