Finance has always interested me because it affects nearly every part of a person’s life. The ability to manage money wisely can determine whether someone feels secure, prepared for emergencies, and able to pursue long-term goals. At the same time, I have seen how confusing financial systems can be for many people, especially those who were never taught about budgeting, investing, credit, insurance, or long-term financial planning. This is one of the main reasons I am passionate about pursuing a career in finance: I want to help people gain the knowledge and confidence needed to make informed financial decisions and create stable futures for themselves and their families. I am currently attending college with the hope of establishing a career in the financial field where I will apply my analytical skills while serving others. One of the things that make financial advisory services appealing to me is the ability to provide valuable assistance to individuals during important moments in their lives. Whether it comes to retirement, education savings, business creation, or even rebuilding from a financial crisis, individuals may need the support of financial advisors to create a realistic plan that helps them find stability. I am convinced that such activities can bring a positive effect on an individual, their family, and future generations. As far as I am concerned, the main problem with today's financial system is the lack of inclusiveness and accessibility to the process of education. Individuals often feel that financial planning is beyond their abilities since they are either financially unstable or intimidated by specific financial terms. However, all people have equal rights to receive appropriate financial counseling. To my mind, what should be changed in this field is related to education, which means that individuals should be informed about financial terms and have clear knowledge of financial procedures. I think technology is another resource that can be used to improve the situation if applied appropriately. Financial platforms and technology have made it easier for individuals to invest in stocks and manage budgets; however, not everyone understands how to apply this to their advantage. In the coming years, I look forward to participating in the creation of a finance generation that will combine the most advanced technologies along with personalized advice. The next thing I would like to achieve in the world of finance is financial literacy for more individuals. I would like to offer my services to young people as well as first generation college students, which means that I would target the population that does not necessarily seek financial advice due to cultural background, language barriers, or lack of money. Everyone has the right to become financially independent regardless of what happened in the past. This scholarship will provide me with the means to pursue my education, thus helping me build up the knowledge and skills required in order to excel in this field. Most important, however, this scholarship will be a significant step forward towards achieving my goal of working in a profession which will enable me to assist other people in acquiring the sense of security that comes from financial success.

My interest in risk management and insurance arises from the need to solve problems, maintain financial stability, and positively contribute to people's lives. Individuals, businesses, and communities experience different forms of risks in daily life, including physical injury, natural disasters, cyber attacks, and financial losses. The former prepares individuals and organizations for potential risks, whereas the latter guarantees financial security to restore the losses and rebuild their lives. This field attracts me since it offers practical solutions to challenges facing modern-day individuals and institutions while providing numerous opportunities to assist and guide people in the aftermath of adverse occurrences. The ever-changing nature of risk management and insurance practices and technologies makes this profession exciting to me. For instance, contemporary firms face emerging risks due to the rise in information technology, global warming, and climate change effects, among other issues. These risks require innovative ideas and approaches to ensure that individuals and companies remain safe in today's highly dynamic world. Furthermore, it is the crucial importance of insurance professionals to ensure security in a community that I appreciate. Insurance comes as a lifeline after disasters have been experienced as insurance enables individuals to reconstruct homes, businesses to resume, and organizations to be able to survive. The insurance industry involves people who take great responsibility in ensuring that there are no losses at all. Being aware that there is a possibility of making an impact in people’s lives inspires me to become an RMI professional. It is expected that receiving this award will assist in achieving my goals of becoming an RMI specialist as it will lessen the amount of money that goes to tuition fees and thus provide me with an opportunity to concentrate on professional development. Studying at university brings lots of challenges including the issue of college costs. However, having access to financial support will mean a possibility to engage in various activities such as internships, meetings, and other necessary events in order to excel in RMI. In addition to the financial benefits, having this scholarship will also serve as a powerful form of motivation and affirmation in the pursuit of my career objectives. The scholarship will give me the motivation to pursue excellence in all my endeavors and act as a reminder that other people are confident in my ability to make a positive contribution in the industry. My primary long-term objective is to establish a career whereby I can assist organizations and individuals in making sound decisions in relation to uncertainty and recovery. I strongly believe that risk management and insurance are much more than just a career pathway. They provide an opportunity to make a difference in our communities through the resolution of problems and the promotion of resilience and responsibility in a world that continues to become more unpredictable. Through this scholarship, I will have the opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to achieve my objectives.
