I am passionate about becoming a teacher because I love the light bulb that shines in a students head when they finally understand or get the lesson I am teaching them. I was able to learn the love I have for children when my mom would take me to her classroom. She would then tell me to help her with paperwork or around with her students and I loved it. This is when I started becoming passionate about working with children because they would even ask me when I was coming back and that they would miss me. I then started continuing to volunteer their and then eventually to a preschool and my love for children continues. I ​love seeing children interested and dedicated to their learning and see the potential that they have in them. I want to be able to help children explore, create, and think critically in their learning. I also want to make sure that I help children in all the developmental areas to give them the best adult life they can have. I want to make a change in a students life if they seem to be struggling with a certain subject or if they need the extra help I want to be there. I want them to know that they can succeed and for them to not give up. Another reason why I am passionate about becoming a teacher is because of my uncle that died 12 years ago. He was the one that told me to stay in school and inspired me to become an educator when I grew up. He was recognized at his school for being caring and taking the time after school to help children if they needed help. He worked in a low income area so a lot of the children did not have those role models and encouragement from their families but my uncle was the one that would do that. This is why I want to be a teacher because I want to help children who think that they might not have a chance to succeed or think they are not smart enough. I want to be that teacher that helps their students before and after school or anytime that they needed. I would say that being a teacher would be life changing for me because I am going to make a difference in a child's life.
