I am the current Treasurer for the Outdoor Education Club, and as a volunteer with a non-profit organization, Experience Saltwater Long Island (freshman through senior years). I have had the opportunity to educate children on protecting and respecting the environment, with a particular focus on water and equipment safety on Long Island’s waterways. I have been a member of the Manufacturing and Fabricating Club since junior year, where I have gained hands-on experience with CNC technology to complete projects that benefit our school community. I earned a Career & Technical Education (CTE) Technical Endorsement in Automotive Technology. Academically, I have maintained a High Honor Roll status from freshman year through senior year and have been inducted into the National Honor Society. I have held a part-time job as a cashier at a local supermarket chain, to hone my communication and time management skills, and learn about financial responsibility. I am also dedicated to my personal ambition to attend classes at a local Martial Arts dojo. I was honored to be inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame as a Sempai and Teen Black Belt. As a Sempai, I have had the opportunity to assist in teaching classes to students of all ages, from three-year-old to adults. This experience has not only solidified my skills, but also helped me come to understand that hard work and dedication are the keys to achieving success, and I am determined to continue pushing myself to reach new heights.
