Wrestling has come with very many challenges in my time with it. One of the biggest challenges I have gotten from wrestling was moving to Science Hill to wrestle my freshman year of high school. Moving from one place to another just to wrestle was very difficult for not only me but as well as my family. Wrestling in college has always been my dream and finally being able to accomplish that dream has been amazing. But moving and leaving all of my friends just to wrestle was a very big challenge I had to face to be able to get to this level in my wrestling career. I have learned that I am willing to do whatever it takes to succeed at whatever I put my mind towards doing. Wrestling comes with very big challenges in many ways when it comes to training as well. From waking up at five in the morning to get a workout in to lose weight the day of a match. Cutting weight is a very big challenge in wrestling for me because I have to focus on my diet and get extra workouts in. Cutting weight is very hard to overcome because you feel super weak and dehydrated all day to be able to make a weight to wrestle a certain spot on the team. Wrestling has changed me in many ways and the things I have learned from the experience have helped me in many challenging life situations. I have learned that the harder you work towards something the better the outcome will be. Wrestling has challenged me in many ways that I am very thankful for. I have learned many things and wrestling will be part of me for the rest of my life. I am very thankful for my family and coaches willing to help me get settled at a new school to overcome the biggest challenge wrestling has gave me.
