I’m their mentors because I know for a fact they would be great future leaders for the United States Marine Corps Organization for the future. Being a leader and a mentor is rewarding when you see your mentee thrive and achieve their goals that they set out to do. As a mentor I understand that the role and doesn't overstep boundaries but challenges the mentee to be better in every aspect. A mentor must build a bond based on trust and confidence with their mentee in order to truly help them.
    Bold Climate Changemakers Scholarship
    Making a positive impact on a climate is essential to making the world a better place. People around the world can do many things to improve the world‘s climate don’t matter how small or big the impact is, every little counts. Sometimes I volunteer to pick up trash into restore old military cemeteries that are been long gone and forgot about. I also did an internship with the National Park at Fort Monroe with the City of Hampton learning about nature and National Monuments around the United States. The National Park Rangers taught me how to make a positive impact on the climate by protecting and preserving areas set aside in the National Park System and out in your local community. In conclusion, climate affects almost every aspect of our lives, from food sources to transportation infrastructure, changing clothes to vacations. It has a huge impact on our lives, our health and our future.

    The scholarship will go straight to my tuition so I can go back to school because I had to take a semester off due to financial problems. My goal currently is to pay for my student bill so I can resume with my original plan that is getting my Bachelors Degree in Political Science so I can get my commission in the United States Marine Corps leading future Marines. Leading future Marines to make the organization better for future deployments and world affairs. The Marine Corps is an elite division of the military that requires hard work and dedication. To be a Marine, you have to work as hard as you can. Becoming a Marine is a challenge that most people don't want to take on. Marines are kept at a level that too many people can tolerate. But I am ready to accept the challenge and devote my life to the Marine Corps. Since my senior year of high school I wanted to pursue a higher education and continue my leadership skills.
