I started varsity tennis a year ago (2025), I have stayed in the top 4 consistently for my team, went to sectionals my first year, working hard to improve and keeping team morale up, I believe that everyone should be able to smile and keep pushing even if their back's against the wall. I help co-coach the girl's varsity tennis team in late August of 2025. I am a very self-possessed person keeping while staying calm. I am always willing to learn new things or improve my abilities. I have just started to enter drawing but I want to improve my drawing skills as I continue.

1. My personal inspiration for pursuing a career in nursing are the people who do not take it seriously, the people who could care less about the patient, I want to make people feel comfortable, safe, and cared for, to build a connection with them so they want to get better, not to neglect them, make them feel rejected or a burden, I want to help build connections instead of walls, even if just the stepping stones, as long as I can help, I'll be happy.
One inspiration I had while I was growing up was my aunt, Amber, who is an on call nurse at one of our local hospitals. I've always respected her and even admired her ability to keep everything in check both at home and on the job - even with her hands full. I don't just wish to be on call, I want to be there whenever, of course not all the time, to work for less just to help out more. Where others seek to be the best or the leader, I've always found peace and happiness in supporting roles, and I believe the best course for me to take would be nursing, in order to find the place I belong. I am a bit of a perfectionist and always striving for a better version of who I am and what I do now, I learn visually and I am very adaptable. I've always thought about the picture as a whole, instead of the centerpiece, where a doctor can help save people's lives, they would be a lot more stressed and overworked without a nurse.
2. The phrase "human touch" could mean a plentiful amount of things, it could be talking about AI creations, or AI artists. Could be talking about workshops full of mechanical automatic systems, there's a lot of ways people can take the phrase. the way I see it the phrase is how human touch is full of warmth, understanding, and empathy. Without a human touch people would be all cold, limited, and empty, making it feel more like a task than a dream job. AI could never replace nurses because without bedside etiquette, hospitals would be so devoid of anything that makes people feel safe and cared for. it would cause people to feel alone in the world, alienated even, which could also make them feel like an outcast, even with friends or people they used to be comfortable around. If there is anything a nurse should do, it is to make the patient feel comfortable underneath this "human touch", to feel warmed and welcomed, to feel safe and secured, to feel home.
How "human touch" can impact patient care, well "human touch" can depend really on the patient, sometimes they prefer physical touch, sometimes they just want someone who will listen. I want to be a beacon of hope, someone who can improve the industry for the better, to show people how bedside etiquette is supposed to look like. I believe there's always a good side to people, even to those who may seem so hard and rough on the outside, I always hold out hope that they can change, to become more empathetic, to be more considerate, to be more respectful, to be more humble and to be more human.
