Hello, my name is Bobby Pearson, and I am from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I am currently in school to become a licensed optician. I had the honor of seeing a kid see his parents for the first time with the help of glasses. That is when I knew this was what I was meant to do. A career in Ophthalmic Support Services is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in people's lives by helping them maintain good eye health. I plan to make a positive impact through my career in ophthalmic support services in many ways. I will do this by providing exceptional patient care, representation, staying up-to-date with technology, training, and volunteering. The goal is to ensure that patients receive the care they need to maintain healthy eyesight. By providing excellent care, I can help patients feel more comfortable and confident in their experiences. Opticians can play an essential role in community outreach programs and eye care clinics, providing eye care services to those who may not have access to them otherwise.
