"Most Gen Z Human Alive" Scholarship
Being part of a generation is not something a person should devote their personality to. It's kinda cultlike. I understand wanting to be a part of something, but assigning a label to yourself based on when you were born is low key dumb. To me, the idea of gen z is simply being the purest, most genuine version of yourself. But that really doesn't make us special. Every generation, when they're young, has their own idea of self expression. Being genuine and true to yourself is not something gen z came up with. It's just us that's currently most prominent with our self expression. The reason being because of the gradual regression of aggressive parenting. Soon, gen alpha will be our age and show the same traits. We'll look at them the same way millenials look at us. The cycle will continue. However, one thing I feel sets gen z apart from our elders is our acceptence of personalities. We, so far, have the most diverse personalities and most tolerance for more. On top of that our generation encouraged older people to come out of their shells and express themselves in ways seen as disgusting or idiotic to their own generation. Those in gen z have created almost a revolution of acceptance when it comes to eliminating stigma and judgmental hazing for those with diverse personalities. This trend will only keep going and snowballing into gen alpha and beyond. So, acceptence. Thats what it means for me to be part of gen z.
