For many anime enthusiasts, there is one series or film that they can watch again and again, finding it endlessly captivating. For me, that film is "Wolf Children" directed by Mamoru Hosoda. This beautifully animated feature tells the story of a young woman named Hana who falls in love with a man who turns out to be a "wolf person." After he tragically passes away, Hana is left to raise their two wolf-human hybrid children on her own, navigating the challenges of keeping their true nature a secret while allowing them to embrace both sides of their identity. What makes "Wolf Children" so endlessly rewatchable for me is the film's profound exploration of motherhood, identity, and finding one's place in the world. Hana's journey as a single parent is portrayed with such tenderness and authenticity, as she strives to give her children the best life possible while respecting their unique needs. The relationship between Hana and her children, Ame and Yuki, is incredibly moving, as they learn and grow together, supporting one another through the ups and downs. Beyond the powerful family dynamics, the film's stunning visual style is a major draw. The lush, naturalistic backgrounds and fluid character animation immerse the viewer in the world of the wolves, making their transformations and experiences feel visceral and real. Additionally, the film's soundtrack, featuring a beautiful original score by Masakatsu Takagi, perfectly captures the the story's emotional beats. Every time I re-watch "Wolf Children," I am struck by its core depth and the way it tugs at the heartstrings. It is a film that celebrates the enduring strength of family and the beauty in embracing one's true self, no matter how unique that self may be. This is why "Wolf Children" remains an endlessly captivating favorite in my anime collection.

Nursing has been a calling of mine for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I have felt a deep desire to care for others and make a positive difference in people's lives. The nursing profession aligns perfectly with my core values and personal strengths, which is why I am eager to embark on this academic and career journey. Fundamentally, I am drawn to nursing because of my passion for helping people. I find great meaning and fulfillment in being there for others during their times of need, whether that means providing compassionate medical care, offering emotional support, or advocating for a patient's well being. The ability to positively impact someone's health and quality of life is incredibly rewarding to me. Beyond the inherent satisfaction of care giving, I am also fascinated by the scientific and clinical aspects of nursing. I am eager to deepen my knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and evidence-based practices. The critical thinking skills required to assess patients and develop effective treatment plans align well with my problem-solving abilities. Additionally, the nursing field is constantly evolving, which means there will always be opportunities to learn, grow, and expand my knowledge. Ultimately, obtaining a nursing degree will allow me to turn my lifelong ambition into a meaningful career. I am confident that the rigorous curriculum and clinical training will provide me with the tools and credentials I need to become a competent, compassionate, and impactful nurse. It is my sincere hope that through this profession, I can truly make a difference in people's lives. As a future nurse, I am committed to using my knowledge, skills, and compassion to serve and uplift my local community. In this role, I envision making valuable contributions in several key ways. First and foremost, I aim to provide exceptional patient care that addresses the holistic needs of the individuals I serve. This means going beyond just treating medical conditions to consider each person's physical, emotional, and social well being. I want my patients to feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey. By practicing with empathy, diligence, and cultural sensitivity, I hope to build trusting relationships and achieve the best possible outcomes for those in my care. Additionally, I hope to leverage my position as a nurse to advocate for the marginalized population within my community. Through my clinical work and community outreach, I will strive to identify and address social determinants of health, such as access to quality healthcare, economic instability, and systemic inequities. By collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and local organizations, I can work to strengthen the community's overall health and wellness. Finally, I plan to continually expand my own knowledge and skills so that I can serve as an educational resource for both my patients and fellow healthcare providers. Whether it's sharing the latest evidence-based practices, providing health education, or mentoring aspiring nurses, I want to use my expertise to elevate the standard of care in my community. In doing so, I hope to inspire others to join me in this noble profession and collectively make a lasting, positive impact. Through my nursing career, I am confident that I can make meaningful contributions that improve people's lives and strengthen the well being of my local community. This is a profound responsibility that I am eager to take on with passion, diligence, and a steadfast commitment to service.

As I reflect on my journey towards a career in nursing, I am filled with a profound sense of purpose and enthusiasm. Nursing is not just a job to me - it is a calling, a chance to dedicate my life to the care and well being of others. Since high school, I have been drawn to the medical field, captivated by the intricacies of the human body and the incredible advances that have transformed healthcare. I will never forget the kindness and empathy shown to me and my family during a difficult time in the hospital. The nurses were not just carrying out their duties, but offering emotional support, answering our questions, and going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. It was in those moments that I knew I wanted to be that pillar of strength for others - to be the caring, knowledgeable professional who can make a tangible difference in someone's life. The more I've learned about nursing, the more I've become convinced that it is the perfect fit for my skills and passions. I am naturally empathetic, with a strong desire to help those in need. I excel at critical thinking and problem-solving, abilities that are vital for providing safe, effective patient care. And I find immense fulfillment in continuously expanding my knowledge, keeping up with the latest advancements in treatment and technology. One of the most compelling aspects of nursing is the profound impact it can have on individuals and communities. As a front line healthcare provider, nurses are uniquely positioned to identify and address the diverse needs of their patients. Whether it's educating a diabetic patient on proper medication management, coordinating the discharge plan for an elderly individual recovering from a stroke, or offering emotional support to a family grieving the loss of a loved one, nurses play a vital role in facilitating healing, improving health outcomes, and enhancing overall quality of life. Their holistic approach, which considers the physical, mental, and social well-being of the patient, allows them to provide truly comprehensive care. Moreover, nurses often serve as patient advocates, ensuring that their needs and preferences are honored throughout the treatment process. In this way, nurses are not merely carrying out clinical tasks, but truly making a difference in the lives of those they serve. Ultimately, a career in nursing represents the perfect intersection of my skills, values, and aspirations. It is the chance to make a tangible, positive impact on people's lives while also enjoying job stability, competitive compensation, and ongoing opportunities for personal and professional growth. For anyone who shares my passion for healthcare, compassion for others, and drive to continually learn and improve, I wholeheartedly believe that nursing is an exceptionally rewarding path worth pursuing.

The idea of "my truth" is a prevalent notion in today's culture, where many individuals believe that their personal perspective, feelings, and experiences define their own unique "truth." This concept stands in contrast to the idea of objective, universal truth that is often associated with biblical teachings and God's divine revelation. From a biblical standpoint, the notion of "my truth" can be problematic when it conflicts with or undermines the truth as presented in Scripture. The Bible presents a clear and consistent view of truth that is grounded in the nature and character of God himself. In John 14:6, Jesus declares, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This statement affirms that Jesus Christ is the embodiment of truth, and that true knowledge of God and the path to salvation can only be found in Him. Similarly, Psalm 119:160 states, "The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever." This verse highlights the belief that the entirety of God's written revelation, the Bible, is truth that stands the test of time. The Apostle Paul reinforces this concept in 2 Timothy 3:16, writing, "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness." The Bible presents truth as objective, absolute, and universal, rather than subjective or relative. In John 8:32, Jesus says, "and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." This suggests that truth is something to be discovered and embraced, not created or defined by individuals. At the same time, the Bible acknowledges the human tendency to distort or reject truth. In Romans 1:18, Paul writes, "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth." This verse suggests that people can actively choose to suppress or deny the truth, often due to their own sinful desires or worldviews. The cultural emphasis on "my truth" can be seen as a manifestation of this human tendency to reject objective truth in favor of subjective, personalized beliefs. When individuals prioritize their own feelings, experiences, or interpretations over the truth revealed in Scripture, they risk falling into error and deception. In contrast, the biblical view encourages believers to align their personal perspectives and experiences with the truth of God's Word. As Proverbs 3:5-6 states, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." This passage suggests that true wisdom and understanding come not from our own subjective truth, but from submitting to the objective truth revealed by God. In conclusion, the idea of "my truth" stands in tension with the biblical understanding of truth as objective, absolute, and grounded in the nature of God himself. While individuals may have unique perspectives and experiences, the Bible calls believers to submit their personal truths to the higher, universal truth found in Scripture and in the person of Jesus Christ.

Even though opportunities in the field of study are vast, I have decided to pursue a nursing degree. I choose to nurse because it can change the world, perhaps not the world as a whole, but it can change a person's world. Nurses should help their patients not just physically but also emotionally. A negative experience with a nurse can be devastating. I want to be a nurse because I can alter people's lives and how they view the medical world. I want to make scared children feel better and safer. I want to make people feel comfortable and get medical help when needed, especially when one in three Americans avoid going to medical facilities even when they need medical help. Nurses change the world not only emotionally but physically as well. A particular example of this was a nurse who inspired me. When she was a baby, she had trouble breathing, and her parents got scared and rushed her to the emergency room. While in the emergency room, she was saved by a nurse. This fact inspired her to become a nurse herself. She later saved three babies who were rushed to the emergency room having trouble breathing. Furthermore, a nurse who went worldwide helping people with cleft lips also inspired me. She may not have changed the whole world, but she changed the world of the people she helped. These patients traveled for hours on all means of transportation to these makeshift clinics, and after a forty-five-minute surgery, their lives were never the same. Before the surgery, they used to be considered outcasts from society because of their physical imperfections. After the surgery, they did not have to sit on the sidelines any longer and could live their lives to the fullest. This nurse not only helped these people, but she also helped others by inspiring them to become nurses themselves, continuing the cause long after she left, and motivating even more people to be nurses. In conclusion, being a nurse can change the world positively for where one goes more follow their footsteps. This chain reaction can inspire more people to be nurses, and more nurses can help people emotionally and physically everywhere, even in places where medical help is scarce. These are all reasons I wish to be a nurse, for there is no limit to all the things I can do to impact the world.

Nursing can play a significant role in fostering the social-emotional well-being and meeting the intellectual needs of gifted children in various ways. Gifted children often have unique challenges and require specialized support to ensure their holistic development. By offering a nurturing and supportive environment, nurses help gifted children thrive both academically and emotionally. Gifted children may experience heightened emotions and sensitivities due to their advanced cognitive abilities. I can provide emotional support, validate their feelings, and help them understand and cope with their emotions effectively. On top of that I can work with educators and other healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans for gifted children. These plans can address the child's specific intellectual needs while considering their emotional and social requirements. Creating an environment that accommodates their unique abilities can enhance their overall well-being. Additionally I will be able to act as an advocate for gifted children within the healthcare system and educational institutions. I can facilitate communication between parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the child's intellectual and emotional needs are met appropriately. Gifted children might find it challenging to relate to their peers due to their advanced intellectual abilities. I can assist in developing their social skills through play therapy, group activities, or social skill-building programs, fostering healthy relationships with others. In addition, gifted children may face challenges like perfectionism, anxiety, or feelings of isolation. I can identify early signs of distress and provide appropriate interventions, counseling, or referrals to mental health professionals when necessary. Gifted children also may fear failure due to the expectations associated with their abilities. I, as a nurse, can help instill a growth mindset, emphasizing that effort and perseverance are essential components of success, and mistakes are opportunities for learning. On top of that I can promote healthy habits, balanced lifestyles, and physical activity to support their overall well-being and cognitive development. I can also adopt a strengths-based approach to care, focusing on the gifted child's abilities and positive attributes rather than solely on any challenges they may face. This approach empowers the child and fosters a sense of self-worth and confidence. In conclusion, by recognizing and addressing the social-emotional needs of gifted children, nurses can contribute to their positive development and overall mental health. Collaboration with educators, parents, and mental health professionals is crucial in creating a supportive and nurturing environment for these children to thrive academically and emotionally.

According to Merriam-Webster, compassionate means having or displaying compassion; sympathetic. Being compassionate is a very important aspect of humanity. Caring for others is very important, and it can be done in a variety of ways. One way to do this is to be kind and compassionate, allowing people to feel valued and included in their lives. Being kind is a fundamental part of who I am and what makes me unique. It allows me to connect with others in a deeper way. It also helps me develop a stronger sense of self. The world we live in is full of people who are not kind to others. It is hard to find people who are nice to each other these days. It is important that we do our part to restore some of this. I am committed to improving myself and the world around me by being more compassionate and accepting of others. I do this by making an effort to spread kindness by engaging in small acts of kindness such as smiling at strangers, helping those in need, and being more open and understanding to people with different views and opinions. By showing others kindness, I hope to create a ripple effect of positivity that will continue to ripple through society. Every day, we are presented with the opportunity to spread joy and make a difference in our world, even if it is in the smallest of ways. Kindness is a powerful tool that can help in life in countless ways. One of the ways being kind impacts my life is by helping me build bridges between people. When one is compassionate to others, it helps to create positive relationships because compassion encourages cooperation and collaboration – two essential ingredients for success. The main reason I am compassionate to others is that one should treat people how one wants to be treated, that is the Golden Rule. As well as that, just knowing that my simple compliment could have made their whole day better is enough to make me happy. In conclusion, Kindness is one of the most important things you can have in your life. It can make you happy, help others, and even change the world. When you are kind, you feel good inside and out. You will be more likely to get what you want in life, and people around you will be more likely to like you.

My career goals of being a nurse are vast, but my main goal is to obviously to help people. Being a nurse, one can alter people’s lives for the better and help them feel safe and comfortable in a place where a lot of people are scared. My goal is to help people not to have fear at the hospital, and to make a place where people can feel comfortable and safe. I remember going to a nursing home to volunteer my time, while there the nurses were being mean to the elderly ladies I was with. Even at the age of ten, I knew what they were doing was extremely wrong. I wish for people to get medical help when needed, primarily the one in three Americans who avoid going to medical facilities even when they need medical assistance. I wish to make scared children feel better and safer. I want to make the elderly not be frightful of what may happen. Even if I make them laugh or have an adequate conversation with them, their whole day and even their experience of a hospital may be better, which in turn can make more people seek medical attention. My goal is to not only be a nurse to help people physically, all unemotional, like some nurses are known to not care for their patients deeply, but I will also help people heal emotionally. I will be empathic to my patient’s woes and compassionate no matter their backgrounds. My goal is to help others by inspiring them to become nurses themselves, continuing the cause, and motivating even more people to be nurses. I feel a calling to help people in a manner few individuals help. I firmly believe I can make a difference in the world, not the whole world, but I can change people’s world and, therefore, make the world a better place. Another one of my goals is to join the Navy so I can help people in different parts of the world. In conclusion, being a nurse can change the world positively for where one goes more follow their footsteps. This chain reaction can inspire more people to be nurses, and more nurses can help people emotionally and physically everywhere, even in places where medical help is scarce. These are all the goals I have as a nurse, for there is no limit to all the things I can do to impact the world.

One's taste is always changing like water flowing through a river. Some of it stays the same as a zephyr going through the earth. I have always loved the princesses, and I believe I have loved almost all the princesses at least one point in my life, with the exception of Snow White. I do not know why I never fell in love with Princess Snow White, but that is what it is. My current favorite princess is Rapunzel I love her because she can be nice and caring as seen with her and The Snuggly Duckling thugs. As well as that she is not a push over as can be seen in the confrontation scene with Mother Gothel. Rapunzel will give everything she holds dear to protect the ones she loves, a very noble trait that not all possess. This a trait that we can all bear witness to towards the end where she risks her freedom, the only thing she has ever wanted to protect Eugene. Then there are the more hidden traits, traits one must watch a few times to notice, such as the fact that Rapunzel is a very hard worker. The fact she brushes her hair every day should already make her be seen as a hard worker, but not only does Rapunzel brushes her hair every day she also cleans and do a multitude of things, mostly out of boredom, but still. Then there is also the fact that Rapunzel is extremely smart, like how she educated herself with three books, or a better example is now that Rapunzel is free one of the first things she does is go to a library. In addition, Rapunzel is greatly determined to see 'the floating lights', she does things she would never have done otherwise to go and see it. An example is basically kidnapping Eugene. Then there is the best quality of Rapunzel and that is her strength, she was raised by a mother that never loved her and was seldom home, yet she grew into the beautiful young lady she is. In conclusion, Rapunzel is not a character to be messed with she may look cute and innocent but everything on and around her can and will be used as a weapon.

Can one imagine a more loyal, protective, and caring thing than a dog? Dogs are a mans best friend and are so marvelous their name spelled backward is God. Dogs have been our furry companions for more than 30,000 years dogs were bred and raised to be our one true best friend. A lot has changed from that initial wolf to my little Shih Tzu, Clyde. Clyde is a lap dog, but I take him on many rad adventures; from taking a walk through nature, to being in the basket of my bike he is with me through every up and down. Most recently due to my new freedom of driving, he is with me for every errand and joyride. He loves to go outside if I am ever near him, and I say "outside" he starts running around and jumping for joy. We then race to the door I open the door, and he zoomies outside and gets what is called the zombies. If it is a breezy cool day we stay outside and enjoy the wheater, Clyde loves the wind on his face. As well as that like most dogs Clyde loves to go on walks though he sometimes gets tired on our long walks I pick him up for a spell so he may rest a bit. Clyde loves to put on clothes that I buy him, if he loves the clothes he will do his happy dance, but no matter what clothes I pick for him he will wag his tail and sit down patiently until I finished dressing him. Something I recently found out he loves to do is go Trick-or-Treating on Halloween. I have been taking him Trick-or-Treating for the last three years dressed of course, but only this passed Halloween did I found out he loves it. I put on his costume, and when he recognized it was one of his clothes he did his happy dance, I put it on him and waited for the rest of my family to get ready, for I was already dressed. Then for the first time I saw Clyde become impatient, he started doing his happy dance, but he will put his front claws on me and start to scratch at me like a door. Afterward, he will stop doing his happy dance go to the door come back to me when he saw I was not following he would repeat it! In conclusion, my dog Clyde is my companion in this world for however long he will stay with me. The memories we make together will be cherished till our dying days, for I love him more than all my friends and possessions. Is it not funny how we can love something that is not even our species so?
