I am a dedicated and high achieving medical student at Ross University School of Medicine, committed to advancing both my education and the broader field of medicine through academic excellence, leadership, and service. With a 4.0 GPA and consistent recognition on the Dean’s List and Honor Roll, I strive for excellence in all aspects of my academic journey.
My foundation in science is grounded in a Master of Science in Biology with an emphasis in microbiology and immunology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology. I have applied this academic background to hands-on research, studying bacterial pathogenesis in Acinetobacter baumannii and contributing to investigations on bacterial virulence and host-pathogen interactions.
In addition to research, I actively contribute to the academic success of others as a Peer Tutor and Gross Anatomy Teaching Assistant, roles in which I develop tailored learning strategies, mentor fellow students, and foster a collaborative learning environment. My leadership extends beyond the classroom through active involvement in student government and as Vice President of our campus chapter of the American Medical Student Association.
My experience in clinical settings, as a Histopathology Technician, Clinical Trainer, and Medical Scribe, has deepened my understanding of patient care and strengthened my commitment to pursuing a career that blends clinical excellence with continued learning and mentorship.
