Bio

Documentary filmmaking is my passion. My approach to storytelling engages sources and characters as co-creators in the process with a focus on centering their humanity and a commitment to ethics, intentionality, and humility. As a Black woman in journalism, I know the lens for which I view the world is underrepresented in the field. I also know the time to share my voice, knowledge, and skill is now!
