I plan to work my whole life to fulfill my dream of being a Lawyer. I have always been stubborn and I don't plan on changing for anyone. I'm open to new ideas and will stand my ground when someone offends me or my friends. I love Jiu-Jitsu and I love to learn. I love learning about mechanics and how weaponry works, even though I'm scared of weapons(only a little bit). For a few years, I had a YouTube channel with my older sister where we would cosplay Marvel and cartoon characters, which was fun. I have a big interest in Horseback riding, and I skateboard, and cliff jump, I write a lot of narratives, and I love working out at the gym. Some of my more prominent hobbies include photography, painting, singing, musical theatre, acting, and dancing. I also love learning about Biotechnology and Criminal Law.

1989 (Taylor's Version) Fan Scholarship
I wish I could say all of them but I won't just for the sake of reading my essay, I don't want it to be a ten-page paper. People might think it's kind of basic but I think that wildest dreams and blank space. Throughout this year, I've had a great experience with my friends and with my family, Taylor's hopeful aesthetic throughout these songs that are portrayed through their upbeat manner just tie off my year perfectly.
Taylor Swift not only can give a really good sad song but also the best upbeat happy and hopeful songs. Wildest Dreams represents my year so far, especially in the bridge the amazing line "Someday when you leave me, I bet these memories follow you" which I can relate to because this year has had its highs and lows but I still want to remember all these great memories and I want them to follow me everywhere I go.
My second song would be Blank Space just because of my current love life but also I can relate it to finding a college because of the line "Cause we're young and reckless, we'll take this way too far, It'll leave you breathless, or with a nasty scar.", I feel we focus so much on the future we forget to live and she opened my eyes to how much of life I was missing because I was focused on getting perfect grades and getting into these amazing colleges that I was hurting myself to get there. Also trying to achieve perfection, she wrote this amazing line that a lot of people know and it says "Cause baby I'm a nightmare, dressed like a daydream" Even further she says "So it's going to be forever, or it's gonna go down in flames, you can tell me when it's over, if the high was worth the pain" now I relate to these lines through this imagine of perfection that I strive so much to be worthy of that people are like she's amazing, she must be happy, her parents must be so proud but I'm just a nightmare. I ended up hating myself just to feel loved, so I relied on others to tell me when I should sit, stand, or stop, I felt like a dog, but Taylor helped me realize I am worth so much more and that this high isn't worth the self-inflicted pain. I truly have learned a lot from her and I can't explain all that she has done for me. I also can't wait for Reputation(Taylor's version)
Future Is Female Inc. Scholarship
Feminism is female empowerment, it embodies all females as one, differences aside. Feminism is important to all women, to know that they are special and they are beautiful just the way they are. It's always been important and will always be important, and nobody can change that. Feminism is where all women can find refuge from the disrespect said by today's society.
Amelia Earhart is the most influential person in my life, she said "If women want equality, they would have to be assertive." she also said, "Women must try to do the impossible and when they fail, their failure should be a challenge to others.". Those quotes have stuck with me as I work harder and harder, despite my flaws and world views. As a young, high school student many people will say I'm too young and too naive, but I won't let their opinions depict my future. I've stood up to many people who have told me I'm only good for being a mother and for household chores, but I refuse to believe that! I was made for a reason, I am here for a reason and nobody can change that.
Growing up in a heavily Christian family that believed that you are incomplete without a husband and you were made to have children, was hard but I continue to overcome that challenge every day. I stand up for my friends who haven't built up their voices against society, but they will learn I know it. I constantly will point out to my classmates or friends if something is sexist and I will show that I don't like it. A boy at my church constantly told me, women meant nothing, if they didn't exist it wouldn't matter, men are better, and women are only good for pleasing men and for taking care of kids, ever since that experience, I've learned to voice my opinions when I think that the speaker is wrong about the topic. The only thing holding me down is myself, not society, not men, not some person troll on the internet that still lives in his mother's basement, they can't hold me down cause I'll just pick myself up and fight.
