I am a bilingual and bicultural student whose life has been shaped by the unique blend of Hungarian and American cultures. Navigating two households and two countries with distinct differences, I quickly learned adaptability and resilience. My early years were defined by quiet observation, learning to adapt and fit into different environments.
A moment of personal growth began with a small act of courage when I introduced myself to a nervous new student. This moment sparked a journey of self-discovery, inspiring me to step out of my comfort zone, advocate for myself, and support others who felt unseen, misunderstood, marginalized or unremarkable.
High school brought significant changes and greater self-awareness. The shift to remote learning made me reflect on my strengths and helped me better understand how I learn and grow. I recognized the importance of self-advocacy and began to appreciate the unique perspectives and abilities I bring to every situation.
My academic journey has been guided by my interests and meaningful relationships with teachers and friends. I thrive in subjects that capture my curiosity and in classrooms where I feel connected. I found new outlets that allowed me to further explore my interests.
