Currently a student in the Master of Environmental Management program at Duke University with a dual concentration in Coastal and Marine Systems and Environmental Analytics and Modeling, additionally pursuing a Certificate of Geospatial Analysis. Current master's project focuses on integrated remote sensing of environmental change in Glacier Bay National Park. Planning on furthering a passion for studying the environment with a career of exploration and discovery.
Recent work experience includes a summer position as a Landscape Fellow with the National Parks Conservation Association, working to develop geospatial toolkits, cartographic products, and advocacy materials relating to regional mining threats for local coalitions in Southeastern Utah. During the academic year, worked as a Program Assistant for the Nicholas School Undergraduate Research Scholars Program, helping to provide program coordination support to three program directors and mentoring services for up to 90 Duke undergraduate students.
In May 2024, graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a B.A. in Sociology and minors in Environmental Studies, International Studies, and Hispanic Studies. During undergraduate years, conducted and assisted research in Argentina, Ecuador, Malawi, Spain, the Irminger Sea, and Antarctica on climate change, marine biology, physical oceanography, and international food systems studies.
Hobbies include reading, traveling, photography, cooking, running, and playing soccer.
