Bio

Hi, my name Is Ayden Powers and I live in Modesto, CA. My main hobbies are fishing, watching football, and working out. I want to become a lineman so I can help take care of my siblings due to the toxic household we live in. I love traveling and helping people so being able to restore power and communication to peopler would be a dream come true. I was working to become a physical therapist before an incident happened in my household which took away the funds to do so. So now I am hoping to get a little extra help from scholarships and grants because my parents won't cosign loans for me to be bale to better myself and my family.

Hi my name is Ayden Powers, I am 19 years old and I live in Modesto, CA. I have 3 siblings named Elijah, Lael, and Kaiyen. Before I decided to attend a trade school I was on my way to becoming a physical therapist, but after a fallout with my parents I decided it would be best for me to attend a trade school in order to better help my myself and my siblings in the future. I am motivated to pursue a career in the trades because I am very interested in mechanical and electrical engineering on all types of platforms. I would really love to learn more about how our power grid and electrical systems work. After schooling I would love to become a journeyman lineman because I love to travel and I would be able to care of my siblings and allow them to experience a better childhood. I also choose this major/career because I have been struggling to stop smoking weed to deal with stress and other problems in my life but as a line worker that is off limits so I am making a valiant effort to better myself and my mental state. I am the oldest son of 4 and my siblings are my biggest motivation because I want them to have a way better childhood than I did growing up. As I was growing up I was constantly in the middle of fight between our parents and constantly going back and forth from houses based on who wanted to deal with me that day. While I was young I was a really quite kid and didn't have many friends due to the fact that I would always be in different cities than where I went to school, many parent told their kids to stay away from me because It was well known my family was very disruptive to say the least. As a result I tried to distract myself with sports walking to practice most of the time and walking back after , I didn't have enough money to pay for football cleats or track spikes so I would use old ones that people left from the year before. As I got into high school my dad remarried another woman and moved away from us but I was till going back and forth between houses until I was about 16. Ever since I have lived with my mom and sibling trying my best to help out and take care of them. This is why I am highly motivated to pursue a career in the trades and can not fail because I have people counting on me

The social causes that I care about are discrimination against Minorities, healthcare is, and domestic violence in the United States. I have seen all of these take a toll on my family and friends first hand and If I can do anything to help that all I need to here.

Hi my name is Ayden Powers, I am 19 years old and I live in Modesto, CA. I have 3 siblings named Elijah, Lael, and Kaiyen. The trades in modern society are very important many people believe that trade schools are for dropout or people who couldn't get into college but that couldn't be further from the truth. The trades today help society go round with them you wouldn't have electricity, water, gas, or in some cases even a home to live in. The trades quite literally are apart of everything we use today, without them we would be lost. Most of my personal goals and aspirations in the trades have to do with family. I would love to become one of the top mineworker in the country and be able to travel. As I've played sports my whole life I am very competitive and always strive to be the best whether it comes to studying, playing video games, or even just cooking. I always look for ways I can improve myself and life for the people that I am very fond of. Before I decided to attend a trade school I was on my way to becoming a physical therapist, but after a fallout with my parents I decided it would be best for me to attend a trade school in order to better help my myself and my siblings in the future. Ever since I have lived with my mom and sibling trying my best to help out and take care of them. The trades have personally impacted my life because I saw how other people in my life were able to help their families after they went through trades. For example, my girlfriend's father(construction) and her brother in law(lineman) both were apply to give their families better lives and it was all through hard work and determination. As I referenced earlier I played sports pretty much my whole life and this has instilled generosity, respect, innovation, and teamwork in me. For generosity I am looking to not only do this for myself but I am doing it for my family and people around me that need help but can't get I themselves. Helping people has always been something that I hold myself in a high regard for whether it is grabbing the remote for someone in the other room or giving a stranger a jump because their car broke down. I am a huge believe karma comes back to you in many ways. In reference to innovation I love coming up with new ideas to make life easier for the people around me in fact I even have journal full of these ideas.
