I read books multiple times a month.
My name is Axel Flambert, a second-year student at Florida International University with a 3.5 GPA. Currently a Finance major, I am transitioning to Accounting with an Economics minor next semester to focus on the technical side of wealth management. My journey from Haiti to Georgia and now Miami has instilled in me a resilient work ethic and a commitment to "ownership" in everything I do. Professionally, I am a Federal Work-Study Student Office Assistant in the FIU Department of Economics. Reporting to Mariela Delgado, I manage administrative logistics and faculty support, gaining hands-on experience in a professional academic environment. I am also an Initiating Candidate for Beta Alpha Psi (BAP), the premier honor society for financial information students, and an active participant in ALPFA and NABA. Being trilingual in English, French, and Haitian Creole, I aim to become a Private Banker dedicated to helping immigrant and underrepresented families build generational wealth through financial literacy. Outside of my career goals, I value discipline and growth. I am a dedicated fitness enthusiast, following a structured gym routine to build mental and physical resilience. I also enjoy container gardening, growing lemongrass and peppers in my backyard. This hobby reminds me that success—whether in a garden or a financial portfolio—requires patience and consistency. I am seeking scholarships to help me complete my education at FIU so I can eventually serve as a resource for those striving for financial stability.
