Hello! I'm Ava, a student journalist at Emerson College. My main goal in becoming a journalist is to help as many people as possible achieve equal rights and the same privileges that others get to enjoy every day. I find a rare kind of beauty in sharing people's stories, and I believe everyone deserves to have their voice heard. As a queer woman with strong morals and beliefs, I will always fight for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community and other minority groups who don't always receive the same respect as others. Any scholarship money would be greatly appreciated, as I come from a single-parent, low-income household and don't have any help with school expenses. Thank you in advance for any consideration!
