My dream future self is standing on his own two feet, confident in who his creator says he is, and building a life with eternal impact.

To me, success is contentment. History shows that many "successful" people spent their lives lost, struggling with the reality of their own unhappiness while being heralded for their career acheivements. If my seventeen years of experience on this planet have taught me anything, it is that the world is not a place to store my treasure. Every day, we all face the reality that nothing is promised, not even the rest of the day. Thankfully, the physical world is not the full extent of reality. My treasure and security belongs to the One who created all things. My personal relationship with God provided through the sacrifice of Jesus has redirected my focus. I remain set on influencing the world for the better but do so with this eternal truth in my heart: nothing in this world means anything the moment I die. However, I am here for a reason. My purpose has been set before me by God, ready to be discovered as I live in surrender to Him. It is those moments of surrender where I am truly successful. Where I am truly free.
