I am currently ranked first in my senior class at Salt Fork High School while also maintaining a perfect GPA through dual enrollment at Danville Area Community College. I push myself academically because I believe education is preparation for responsibility, not just achievement. I am most passionate about service, leadership, and personal growth. As a varsity football, varsity basketball, and competitive cheerleader, as well as a cross country and track athlete, I have learned discipline, resilience, and how to lead under pressure. Some of my most meaningful experiences happen outside of competition, though. As a youth cheer and tumbling coach, I work with younger athletes to help them build confidence and overcome fear. Watching them achieve skills they once thought were impossible reminds me why mentorship matters. I also serve my community through FFA and by assisting the Ladies of Catlin, participating in projects that support local families and strengthen our community. Giving back is not something I do occasionally—it is something I try to build into my daily life. My long-term goal is to become a veterinarian in the United States military. I want to combine my passion for animal care with my desire to serve our country by caring for military working animals and supporting the service members who depend on them. I am a strong scholarship candidate because I combine academic excellence with consistent service and leadership. I set high goals, work hard to meet them, and remain focused on using my education to make a meaningful difference.
