FinalistBio
I am a driven and community-focused student graduating from T.C. Roberson High School with both a high school diploma and an Associate in Arts degree through A-B Tech. Ranked first in my class of 329 with a 4.763 GPA and a 35 ACT score, I am passionate about academic excellence, leadership, and making a meaningful impact.
My greatest passion is mentorship and youth development. As a Head Swim Coach, I lead over 120 athletes while supervising junior coaches, organizing meets, and fostering both skill and confidence. I also provide private lessons tailored to individual needs, including helping a young autistic swimmer overcome sensory challenges and join a competitive team.
Beyond athletics, I serve as Editor-in-Chief of my school’s yearbook, managing a staff of 30+ and creating a publication that reflects diverse student voices. I am deeply committed to representation, collaboration, and clear communication.
Service is central to who I am. I have contributed to Hurricane Helene relief efforts, interact with and coach local middle and elementary school kids, and regularly spend time with my elderly neighbor, valuing genuine human connections.
I am a strong candidate because I combine academic rigor with leadership, initiative, and compassion, and I am committed to making a lasting impact in every community I join. In the future, I hope to become a pediatric specialist so I can continue working with children and make a meaningful impact on their health and well-being.
