My goal is to combine my fascination with medicine, love for fighting social injustice, and passion for working with children, to increase access to proper medical care. To satisfy my passions, I aspire to be a pediatrician. My community is plagued with generational health issues and lacks resources to treat them. I want to break this cycle. Becoming a pediatrician will allow me to open my own local practice and provide my community with medical care. To accomplish this goal, I want to get a degree in biomedical engineering, minor in biology and attend medical school. Following medical school, I will complete my residency and become a pediatarican.
