As someone who has never worked with my hands before, the very first time I saw a bunch of raw materials slowly turn into huge industrial dehumidifiers, I developed respect and admiration for those who do. What made me go towards trade school? I don't want to spend all my life thinking that maybe I was too lazy and decided to choose the easy way instead of what I really wanted. I want to build my own future through hard work, skill, and perseverance. And this career path seems the best option for now. As you probably have understood already, the trade that I am interested in is pipe welding. Why is this trade attractive for me? Firstly, it is very practical, and secondly, it helps one learn lots of new skills. Welding is both physical strength and skillfulness. Working with pipes is interesting since there are many places and industries where it could be used, including construction, manufacturing, and energy. In general, welders are needed everywhere. I think the main point when talking about welding is the ability to master this trade. After finishing school, I plan to get several certificates that will give me access to working with large industrial projects and then develop my trade. Moreover, I believe this choice helps me ensure my future prosperity as a person and provide my family with enough money for living in the future. My goal is not to stay in one place all my life – I want to move forward and work at improving myself as a person. I believe that after finishing the trade school I will gain a good reputation for having the skill, reliability, and hard work, and this will help me become a good role model for others, encouraging young people to go the same way as me. I think this scholarship could help me achieve my dreams. As of now, I am doing everything in my power to prepare financially for going to trade school, trying to earn some additional money, but, unfortunately, it does not seem like it is enough for now. Thanks to this scholarship, I will not have to worry about paying for anything related to studying. This means I could focus more on improving my skills and knowledge in the chosen trade. Hopefully this essay will not only assist me in receiving this scholarship, but can be used to motivate other young people to follow the same path.
