My name is Ariana, but everyone calls me Ria. I’m fourteen years old and graduated from high school this past summer at the age of thirteen with a GPA of 3.99. Education has always been important to me, not just for the grades, but because I truly love learning and exploring how people think, feel, and grow. Psychology captured my interest early on because I’ve always been fascinated by human behavior and the emotional challenges of life. I’m preparing to begin my studies at Louisiana State University as a psychology major in the spring of 2026. My goal is to earn a PhD in clinical psychology and build a career working with individuals living with chronic illness and pain. This became a personal passion when a close family member faced chronic illness and the mental struggles that came with it. Seeing how physical health affects emotional well-being strengthened my commitment to understanding how psychological support can improve quality of life. My dream is to help others find hope, strength, and healing even when life feels overwhelming. Beyond academics, I’m dedicated to personal growth, community involvement, and developing the skills to make a real impact in mental health. I value listening, learning from others’ experiences, and using that knowledge to offer kindness and support.
