I’m a designer and soon-to-be grad student in Portland, Oregon, where I live with my husband, our five-year-old son, and our sweet rescue dog. After years of caregiving—supporting my neurodivergent child and my aging father—I felt called to social work. I’m especially drawn to supporting families through major life transitions, from new parenthood to end-of-life care. This fall, I’m starting my Master of Social Work at George Fox University with the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I also co-founded a small organization that helps families prepare for birth and the early postpartum period. Outside of work and school, I love ceramics, hiking, and cooking meals to share with friends.
