I want to get to a place where I will be able to help children with mental health problems and disorders. I also want to help people know that it's okay to talk about their feelings and what they are going through. I want to help get rid of the taboo surrounding mental health and everything that comes with it. I feel I am a great candidate because I have many different experiences to help me be able to relate to many different people. I've tried sports, I sing, I tried playing an instrument, I've worked in fast food, been a girl scout, as well as many other things. I'm also a very bubbly and cheerful person that likes to be around people. My friends would describe me as the "mom" friend because I'm always looking after everyone, and I'm very good at planning events or social gatherings.

Destinie’s Dollars for Degrees Scholarship
College is expensive and hard, but it's an investment. You might think college isn't for you, but it is not solely about getting a degree and later getting a job. College is an investment in yourself and your life experience. You can grow so much being on your own at college and even if you end up commuting you can learn so much from having to maintain a schedule. That seems similar to high school, but the difference is no one is going to force you to go but the results will vary greatly based on the effort you put in.
College also helps you learn so much about yourself. You can try new things and meet new people. It is a great way to see just how vast people and their experiences really differ. You can meet people from all over the world and make lifelong friends. But even putting all that aside investing in college is a way to say that you believe in yourself and that you are worth investing in. Yeah, people say college isn't for everyone and it's probably not, but you'll never know if you don't try you could be missing out on some of the most amazing years of your life and you wouldn't even know because you didn't even try. So, in the end, it's up to you, but don't you want to invest in yourself.
