When I was thirteen years old, I met Suma, a girl my age whose story completely changed the way I viewed education and opportunity. After losing her mother to cancer, Suma and her younger sister were abandoned by their father at the doorstep of an orphanage. Despite everything she had endured, she possessed something extraordinary: an eagerness to learn. Every time I taught her something new, her eyes lit up with curiosity and determination. The problem was never her ability; it was the lack of resources available to help her reach her potential. Meeting Suma made me realize that talent exists everywhere, but opportunity does not. At thirteen, I began supporting Suma’s education using my own savings while also teaching and mentoring her. What started as an effort to help one student soon became a larger mission. I founded Project E4E (Education for Everyone), an initiative focused on expanding educational access for underserved children. Over a period of three years, I raised more than $2,500 and helped impact over 3,300 children through educational initiatives, mentorship, and community outreach. The most meaningful part of this journey has not been the numbers, but the people behind them. I have watched students who once doubted themselves begin to ask questions, dream bigger, and believe that their circumstances do not define their futures. This work eventually carried beyond my local community, and I was honored to be invited to speak at the 1M1B Activate Impact Summit at the United Nations, where I shared my journey and the mission behind Project E4E. Seeing a small initiative that began with one student reach a global platform reminded me that meaningful change can start anywhere, even with a thirteen year old who simply wanted to help. Now, as I pursue a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, I want to use technology to continue expanding this impact. Through Project E4E, I saw that many students struggle not because they lack ambition, but because they lack access to essential resources such as textbooks and learning materials. To address this challenge, I developed and coded a digital curriculum toolkit that functions entirely offline, allowing students to access educational resources without needing internet connectivity. For students in underserved communities, learning should not depend on a Wi Fi signal. This project strengthened my belief that engineering is not just about building devices; it is about building possibilities. My long term goal is to develop a low cost educational tablet that can replace traditional textbooks. Instead of families repeatedly purchasing books every academic year, students could access their curriculum, assignments, and learning resources through one affordable device. By combining electrical engineering and education, I hope to create technology that makes quality learning accessible to students regardless of their financial background. This scholarship would be more than financial support; it would be an investment in the future I am working to build. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to pursue higher education, and this support would help me grow as an engineer, expand Project E4E, and transform ideas into solutions that can reach thousands more students. The journey that began with one student has become my purpose. I hope to use my education to empower communities, inspire young women to pursue fields like engineering, and create a world where every student has the opportunity to turn their potential into reality. By investing in my education, you are also investing in the many lives I hope to impact.

The impact I hope to make begins with one student. I was thirteen years old when I first became aware of how dramatically access to education can shape a child's future. At an age when most teenagers are focused on school and extracurricular activities, I found myself thinking about a question that would ultimately define my purpose: what happens to talented children when opportunity never reaches them? The answer became personal when I met Suma, a girl my age whose circumstances were vastly different from my own. After losing her mother to cancer, she and her younger sister were abandoned by their father at the doorstep of an orphanage. Despite the hardships she had endured, she possessed something remarkable: a genuine eagerness to learn. There was a spark in her eyes whenever she encountered something new. Yet she lacked the resources, foundational knowledge, and financial support necessary to continue her education. Meeting Suma changed my perspective forever. I realized that intelligence, ambition, and potential exist everywhere, but access to education does not. Determined to help, I used my own savings and began fundraising to support her schooling. I also spent time teaching and mentoring her, helping bridge gaps in her academic foundation. Watching her gain confidence and progress academically showed me how transformative even a single opportunity can be. What began as an effort to help one student soon grew into a larger mission. At thirteen, I founded Project E4E (Education for Everyone), an initiative dedicated to making education more accessible for underserved children. Over the years, I expanded the project through fundraising, mentorship, and educational outreach, ultimately raising more than $2,500 to support 33 children. Beyond financial assistance, I worked directly with students, tutoring, mentoring, and encouraging them to pursue goals they once thought were out of reach. Now, as a college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, I see an opportunity to scale that impact far beyond what I could accomplish through fundraising alone. Through Project E4E, I repeatedly encountered families struggling to afford textbooks and learning materials. Many students lose access to quality educational resources simply because the costs accumulate year after year. This challenge inspired me to think beyond traditional forms of assistance and toward technological solutions. I have already begun developing and coding a digital curriculum-based toolkit designed to organize educational content into an accessible learning platform. My long-term goal is to build on this work by developing a low-cost educational tablet that can serve as a replacement for traditional textbooks. Instead of requiring families to purchase new books every academic year, students could access their entire curriculum through a single affordable device. Such a platform could provide textbooks, notes, assignments, and interactive learning tools while significantly reducing the financial burden on families. For students like Suma, access to knowledge should never depend on the size of a household's income. To me, engineering is more than designing circuits or building devices. It is a means of creating opportunity at scale. The same determination that led a thirteen-year-old girl to support one student's education now drives me to develop solutions capable of reaching thousands more. My vision is simple: a future where every child, regardless of circumstance, has access to the resources needed to learn and succeed. Project E4E showed me the power of individual action. My education in electrical engineering will allow me to transform that action into lasting, scalable impact. By combining innovation with service, I hope to help create a world where potential is never limited by access and where technology becomes a bridge to opportunity for every child.
