In November 2024, I drove from Pennsylvania to Los Angeles alone and spent the next year living in my car. I enrolled at Santa Monica College and am now a full-time Business Administration student with a 3.5 GPA and Dean’s List standing, concentrating in Finance, and the first in my family to pursue a four-year degree. Now housed and carrying 15 units, I founded Mulholland Signing Group, a mobile notary and loan signing business, and I am working toward owning licensed residential care facilities. My goal is to transfer to USC Marshall or UC Berkeley Haas and build a career in finance and real estate, creating the stability I once didn’t have. Scholarship funds go to tuition, transfer application costs.
