Bio

My life goals are to help as many people get the help they need to become better functioning humans in society. To make them feel comfortable enough when talking to me as well as ensure that they do not feel like their differences are a hindrance or a burden for others or themselves. To give others a way to better themselves and improve their quality of life if they so choose and guide them through their decisions while also making it more of their choice. I have always loved helping others and giving others advice and listening to people's troubles and having the trust of others to be given the honor to have a glimpse into their minds and offer my help. I love to help others find peace and solutions to people's troubles and help them out as much as I can. To be able to give others a solution and meaningful advice for their concerns and troubles is such a powerful thing that is so fulfilling to me. I would say I am most passionate about helping others and being there to show my support for them if they ever need it. I have a set plan and am very determined and once I know what I want I chase it and don't let go or stop till I achieve my goals. I am also very academically inclined and love to learn new things.

Generational wealth means one's future family and others can prosper and not have as many financial concerns for their lives and choices as they may choose for themselves. It means that by having that financial cushion one can more confidently do the things they are passionate about despite the paycheck they may receive rather than choose careers for the high wages to not have to live paycheck to paycheck. To achieve generational wealth, I plan to choose a career path I can find passion in and have a good conscience in taking that pays well. For example, I love the mind and the idea of helping people so being a therapist and or psychiatrist. I plan to learn how to navigate the stock market to maximize my funds and make a profit essentially doing nothing and maybe once I have enough finances to invest in real estate and then rent those properties to have another source of income as my Ying Ying does as well. I also plan on perhaps one day as a side hustle and hobby to make pottery as I love ceramics and then to sell my creations in order to make and have another source of income and financially support myself as best as I can and my partner and have a good enough lifestyle to then have a nice place to live, amazing vacations and funds to travel the world. My Chinese grandma or Ying Ying as I call her immigrated to America from China after marrying my Chinese grandpa and went into nursing. But she didn't know the language and had to read and study her textbook with an English-to-Chinese dictionary. She failed the nursing test a couple of times and still tried despite the failures knowing that it would help her family and give them the ability to also have good opportunities to further their lives and have a good life that they enjoy and can create generational wealth for their families if they so choose to have families. My dad was going to be a doctor but found that he wasn't made for the career and so found out he liked being an engineer and doing math as it made sense to him but also make enough money where get could make enough money to support a family as well as buy a house and have luxury items and have nice vacations as well. Now we can go on vacation and make home improvements to increase the value of the house if my sister and or I want to sell one day and make a good profit from the sale. Due to my dad's interest in math as well as creating generational wealth for us, he has an interest in stocks and invests and watches the market to make moves that are profitable and is always looking for deals on materials to save money. He also buys and sells firearms to make a profit as well to help support us and put towards the house or vacation funds. I want a life where I can do the things I want and to not have to worry constantly about my financial situation and how I am going to pay for the basics that I need to survive and get myself to the point where I want to be in my life. I don't want to have to rely on someone financially as it creates debts and power for them to use against you.

Marie Lu's Legend would be the book I would recommend to the world to read. It may not be much and it may not be everyone's cup of tea with its themes of sci-fi as well as dystopian setting with touches of romance and plenty of action. But it was the first book to strengthen my relationship with books and my ability to read better. As a child with ADHD, I struggled with reading and comprehension and the ability to settle down enough to even properly learn how to read. As I grew up, I still hated reading and only read for the reading goals our school mandated we all reach. But by 6th grade my librarian recommended me Legend by Marie Lu and I became enraptured with the lot and unable to put the book down, I would read during any free time I would have during classes and breaks and stay up late reading. I blazed through the rest of Marie Lu's series in a matter of days. It was the most fun I ever had reading a book and the fastest I have ever read in my entire life up until that point. Thus began my reading journey where books became my escape from reality and crutch to cope with my life. I come from an abusive household and had never had anything to use as a coping mechanism other than bottling it, but reading provided me with an escape into a new world where I could live vicariously through the characters and be as strong and brave as them and have amazing adventures and travel the world and freedom. In my youth as dystopian was popular at the time I became obsessed with dystopian books and of course read The Hunger Games, the Divergent series, and the Maze Runner series. But I also managed to form an amazing friendship with my librarian. We would both recommend to each other books and I would spend my lunches in the library talking about my latest read and gossiping about the plot and romance. She became my best friend and would get books at the bookstore for the school she thought I would enjoy. She was the one after all who recommended Marie Lu's Legend to me when I had to choose a book for mandated reading goals and the reason I fell in love with reading.

As a woman, I have been cat-called, sexually assaulted by a fellow woman at the age of 7 when she was a teenager at the time, and have been forced into situations in which I was not a willing participant but too afraid to say no and face the repercussions from my partner at the time and have my reputation smeared by false rumors if I were to not give in. Not All Men by Morgan St. Jean is a very powerful song about the fear and issues women have to go through at the hands of men. It's a powerful song in the fact that it points out the encounters that all women face at least at one point in their life. It calls out the flaws of society and the continued mistreatment of women and the fear and extra precautions we women use to protect ourselves. This song inspires me to fight for the inequalities and injustices women face and the smearing and criticism we are met with if we do decide to proceed with legal action and come clean with the abuse, sexual assault, and rape we have encountered. We are questioned about what we were wearing rather than having the male be questioned and under scrutiny for his actions. The lyrics that have a great impact are: "If you tell the truth, they say his life is ruined...Blame our clothes and it's not all men, But it's all women." Women in Schools are taught and told to cover up otherwise we are seen as a distraction for our male counterparts and affecting their learning by our showcase of skin. But where is the concern for women's learning and pursuit of education when we are asked to go home and change and miss out on important information?
