I watched the veterinarian make a large incision into my sister's ewe; the precise incision into the tissue saved the twin lambs inside. He pulled out the first lamb with the second right behind, both healthy and beautiful. I knew at that moment I wanted to be a large animal veterinarian. The subsequent shadowing experiences made my commitment stronger. I am a diligent junior at Bridgewater College majoring in Biology and minoring in Biomedical Sciences and a Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist at Ashby Animal Clinic where assist the doctors and veterinary technicians in regular check ups, fill medications, and assist and observe surgeries.
