I'm currently a high school senior and I'm interested in pursuing a undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering in the Class of 2029. I organize events to hone our relationships more, including fundraising events by working with boba shops and launching an ice-cream float event so freshmen can meet upperclassmen at lunch and play carnival games.

  Ran a robotics tournament for 150 Oakland students in partnership with LEGO, NASA, & Oakland Union School District. Travel to Oakland 3-4x per year to mentor students in engineering.

  I taught neurodivergent students LEGO robotics through the LEGO Spike curriculum. I tailored lesson plans for each student’s level to increase their interest in building and coding LEGO projects. We reached 12 students who want to work with us again next year, including one who wrote me a card, expressing gratitude as he enjoyed our lessons.

  Mission:

  I was chosen to present a speech at the Facing Fentanyl workshop, at the Teens Tackle Tobacco Conference at UC Berkeley. I presented the dangers of fentanyl overdose to over 200 Bay Area teens and staff advocates from California. Advocated to remove designated smoking zones on De Anza College campus to prevent second-hand smoke inhalation. Organized and ran Pride PSA Contest & Showcase for LGBTQ+ youth across the county.

  Mission:

  Besides being on the organizing committee, and running the SASACA conference, I’m also the treasurer and an advocate, collaborating with assembly members to improve STEM education and create equitable access to STEM programs across California. I worked with Congressman George Manschein to co-author a bill allocating $500,000 to after-school STEM programs, which was passed months later.

  Mission:

  As part of the tech subcommittee, I presented AI’s viability as a tool for education in classrooms to Congresswoman Eshoo. I focused on exploring AI’s positive uses and potential to enrich students’ knowledge. I discussed the idea with legislators in D.C. and received praise from Congresswoman Eshoo on the proposal’s depth and thoughtfulness.
