I love interacting with others and brightening others’ day by spreading positivity. Throughout my life, I have found many means of doing this. For the past four years, I have played in the Avon Symphony Orchestra as a first violin where we have won the state championship almost every time we competed. However to me, it has been giving back to the community, all the way from performing in front of judges, creating smiles in elderly who are at the end of their life at hospices through music, and not just tutoring beginner players who aspire to play string instruments in the future, but inspiring them. Whether working in a small group to engineer solutions related to technology, helping someone else who is also trying to start a business, or playing music for others, the common factor is spreading positivity. It is through the community that I have discovered my passion for teamwork and the beauty behind creation, unity, and discovery. These experiences have taught me what it means to be a part of something greater than yourself, where small beginnings are that of a larger work as a whole, impacting people in a deeply rooted sense, resulting in a shift in people’s outlook on the world and therefore the foundation of society.
