Wrestling has taught me discipline, focus, and leadership. Beyond competing, I also coach younger wrestlers, helping them improve and build confidence. People come to me for support because they know I’ll listen without judgment. I take pride in being someone others can count on. I also enjoy attending church and growing in my relationship with the Lord, which guides me in life. The qualities of dedication, personal growth, leadership, and emotional maturity are what I will bring to college. I’m not just an athlete; I’ve learned valuable lessons through adversity, rebuilding, and reigniting my passion. I’m passionate about growing through competition and connecting with others. Wrestling allows me to challenge myself, track my progress, and identify areas to improve. It's not only about winning, but about applying everything I’ve worked for and learning from it. I also enjoy encouraging others to build confidence. Whether coaching a younger wrestler or listening to someone, I take pride in lifting people up. Seeing someone gain confidence not just in their sport but also in themselves is one of the best feelings I know. If I had to leave wrestling, I’d miss the connections with teammates and the bond from working hard together. That sense of community is what keeps me motivated. Life Goals: 1.Win the FHSAA Class 1A 190 Wrestling State Championship in 2026. 2. Pursue a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education while continuing wrestling in college. 3. Become a teacher and coach, educating students and athletes about fitness and sports.
