    McClendon Leadership Award
Dear Scholarship Committee, I am writing to express my sincere interest in the McClendon Leadership Award scholarship. As a business professional and entrepreneur, I have always been passionate about leadership and understand the crucial role it plays in shaping our world today and in the future. Leadership, in my opinion, is the ability to inspire and motivate others to work towards a common goal. A leader must communicate effectively, delegate tasks, and take charge when necessary. They must be able to make decisions under pressure and think critically to find solutions to complex problems. Moreover, leadership also involves leading by example and being a role model for others to follow. In today's world, leadership is more critical than ever before. We face numerous challenges, ranging from climate change to social inequality, and it is up to our leaders to address these issues and work towards a better future. With strong leadership, we can inspire positive change and make a meaningful difference in our communities. As a multi-lingual business professional, I have had the opportunity to demonstrate leadership in various roles throughout my career. From my work as an Operations Assistant Intern at New Haven Works to my role as Lead Technology Tutor at Albertus Magnus College, I have consistently taken charge and worked towards achieving positive outcomes. I have led teams, managed projects, and resolved conflicts, all while maintaining a positive and motivating attitude. Through this scholarship, I plan to continue honing my leadership skills as I pursue higher education. With the support of this scholarship, I am confident that I can make a greater impact in my community and inspire positive change for our world. I believe that by pursuing a degree in business management, I can enhance my leadership skills and apply them to make meaningful contributions in the corporate world. I am excited about the opportunity to be considered for the McClendon Leadership Award scholarship, which would not only help me financially but also encourage me to strive towards achieving my goals. I am confident that this scholarship would provide me with the resources and support I need to develop my leadership skills and make a positive impact in my community. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application. I look forward to the opportunity to recive the scholarship to further continue my education and hopefully later on pursuing masters in the field of my major. Kind regards, Arooba Sholmiyet
Jorian Kuran Harris (Shugg) Helping Heart Foundation Scholarship
My name is Arooba Sholmiyet, and I'm a multi-lingual business professional and entrepreneur. From a young age, I have been fascinated by the business world and how it can positively change people's lives. As I pursued my education and gained professional experience, my passion for business only grew stronger. I am particularly interested in entrepreneurship, as it is through innovation and creativity that we can make a real difference in the world. My long-term goal is to start my own business and use my skills to create solutions to social and economic challenges. I am excited to apply for the Jorian Kuran Harris (Shugg) Helping Heart Foundation Scholarship, as it will give me the opportunity to pursue my dreams and make a real impact in the world of business." The Jorian Kuran Harris (Shugg) Helping Heart Foundation Scholarship will make a huge difference in my education and future career. As an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in business, I know that my education is critical to my success. However, the cost of tuition and other expenses can be a significant barrier for students like me. With this scholarship, I will be able to continue my education without the financial burden that often comes with it. I plan to use the funds to pay for tuition, books, and other expenses related to my education. This will allow me to focus on my studies and gain the skills and knowledge that I need to succeed in the world of business. In addition, the scholarship will give me the opportunity to explore new areas of business and entrepreneurship. I will be able to take courses and participate in programs that I might not have been able to afford otherwise. This will help me to develop my skills and gain new perspectives on the world of business, which will be invaluable as I pursue my career goals. During my freshman year of college, I was diagnosed with a chronic illness that left me feeling physically and emotionally drained. It was challenging to keep up with my coursework and maintain my extracurricular activities while dealing with my illness. However, I refused to let my illness define me. I sought out medical treatment and made lifestyle changes to help manage my symptoms. I also reached out to my professors and academic advisors for support and guidance. Through hard work and perseverance, I was able to successfully complete the semester and maintain my academic standing. This experience taught me the importance of resilience and the power of seeking help when you need it. I know that there will be challenges and obstacles in my future career, but I am confident that I have the skills and determination to overcome them and succeed in the world of business.

This scholarship will help me to cover some of my tuition fee and going to play a huge role in my education. I believe I will continue to be an achiever after I exit your oversight of my educational adventure and go on to be an inspiration to those wishing to become more than what life, culture, or country has given them.
