Hi! I’m Arisa, a junior studying Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science. I’m passionate about making healthcare more accessible, especially for underserved communities. I’m currently conducting research in neural rehabilitation, using brain waves to control robotic arms for patients with physical disabilities. Having spent significant time in hospitals growing up, I know how frustrating and disempowering the system can feel. That experience drives me to innovate solutions that make medical care more human and more equitable. I’m also a general body member of several STEM organizations, where I stay connected with peers who share my passion for representation, inclusion, and impact in engineering and healthcare.
