I am a passionate and driven individual with a clear vision for my future and a deep desire to make a positive impact on my community, especially in the areas of immigration and philanthropy. My life goals are centered around pursuing a degree in finance and becoming a lawyer, both of which will provide me with the necessary skills and knowledge to effect meaningful change and give back to those in need. One of my greatest passions is the field of finance and marketing. I am fascinated by the intricacies of the economy, and I see it as a powerful tool to drive economic growth and social change. With degrees in finance and marketing, I aspire to contribute my expertise to businesses and organizations that share my values of ethical practices and social responsibility. Through sound financial decision-making, I believe I can empower companies to make a positive impact on their employees, customers, and communities. Beyond finance, my heart lies in the realm of law, particularly in the area of immigration. As someone from a Hispanic/Latin American background, I understand the challenges faced by immigrants seeking a better life. By becoming a lawyer, I aim to provide legal representation and support to those who need it most, helping families stay together and enabling individuals to pursue their dreams in a land of opportunity. Philanthropy is another core aspect of my life goals. I strongly believe in giving back to the community that has supported me throughout my journey.   Mission:

  Two times a month, every month for the past two years I have looked up the needed items that are low in stock. I go to our local grocery stores, stock up on the items and donate them to the Co-Op. I started doing this during COVID so that families in need would have something to eat and wouldn’t have another expense to worry about in hard times.

  Volunteering · Waumba Land at Gwinnett Church

  2019 – 2021

  Mission:

  I volunteered at Waumba Land for two years. Waumba Land is a church daycare designed for children ages six weeks–Pre-K. At Waumba Land, we volunteer with worship leaders to create a loving environment for the babies and preschoolers of adult churchgoers. My role was to connect relationally with a small group of children every week and do creative activities with them. I provided care for the children for about 1.5 hours every Sunday morning for almost nine months.

  Mission:

  I have gone with my family to a church in Atlanta whose mission is to feed the homeless in the city three Saturday’s every month. When given the opportunity during winter, I made care baskets filled with necessities for the homeless. It included socks, toothpaste, a toothbrush, gloves, and beanies. Additionally, I made a donation bin, where with the help of my family and friends we gathered old winter clothes that did not fit anymore or that we didn’t need and donated them to the shelter.
