My decision to pursue a career in the veterinary field comes from a lifelong love for animals and a deep appreciation for the bond between animals and the people who care for them. From a young age, animals have been a constant source of comfort, curiosity, and joy in my life. Being around animals has always felt natural to me, and over time, that connection has grown into a desire to protect, heal, and advocate for them. Veterinary medicine represents the perfect intersection of my passion for animals and my interest in science, service, and lifelong learning. The most important part of my life journey occurred when I grew up with my dog Marleigh who has been my companion since the day we first met. My early experience of caring for Marleigh developed my ability to take responsibility while teaching me to wait patiently and to understand other people's feelings. The combination of my dog receiving routine veterinarian checkups and experiencing different health issues and receiving preventive medical treatment allowed me to see how veterinarians deliver medical care to pets while helping families who deal with stressful emotional situations. The experience of watching veterinarians show their compassionate care toward Marleigh made me understand that this profession brings great benefits to both animals and their human caregivers. My affection for animals goes beyond simple friendship because I find joy in observing how they behave while learning about their essential requirements and maintaining their health. I experience deep fulfillment from my work with animals which includes both pet care and animal health education and time spent with them. My dedication to this field of study pushed me to select Biology as my major while following the pre-veterinary track. Biology enables me to establish a solid scientific base which will help me meet the demanding academic requirements of veterinary school. I have a strong desire to study anatomy and physiology together with animal health because these subjects relate to the practical tasks that veterinarians conduct throughout their daily work. The main reason I want to work in veterinary medicine is that I can create tangible positive results through my work. Veterinarians serve an essential function by stopping diseases from spreading and helping animals experience less discomfort while they enhance the living standards of animals which cannot vocalize their needs. The profession requires science knowledge as well as the ability to show empathy and to communicate effectively and to handle emotional challenges. I strive to develop my technical abilities because I want to create a successful veterinary career through my dedication to serving others. I want to become a veterinarian who delivers exceptional pet treatment while developing trustworthy bonds with both the pets and their human companions. I want to become an advocate for animal wellbeing who teaches responsible pet care while pursuing my professional development throughout my working life. My dedication to animal welfare, my educational commitment, and my pre-veterinary experience have established my career objectives because I believe veterinary medicine enables me to create my most significant contributions.

Throughout my life my mother has significantly impacted my life in a positive way by being a constant source of inspiration and guidance. She has always encouraged me to be the best I can be and reach for the sky. Since I was a little girl she has stressed the importantance of hard work, perseverance, and determination to achieve my goals. By her encouragement I have the confidence to pursue my goals fearlessly and strive for excellence in all that I do. I see my mother as being the backbone of our family. In despite of the numerous challenges and responsibilities she carries, my mother manages to hold everything together with remarkable strength and grace. She manages to excel at her career, balancing the demands of multiple jobs while also being the main caregiver for my adult sister with autism. Watching her juggle these roles and responsibilities seamlessly has taught me the importance of resilience, patience, dedication, and being a strong woman. My mother's unwavering support for my sister and our family has taught me the true meaning of unconditional love and sacrifice. I've learned by her example the importance to stand by the people you love, especially through the most challenging times. Financial independence is one of the most important lessons my mother has taught me. She has instilled in me the value of living within your means and the importance of saving for the future. Early in life my mother gave me the understanding that achieving financial security is about managing your money wisely and not so much about how much you earn. She taught me to save consistently, budget, and avoid unnecessary debt. The lessons learned are more important now as I prepare for college and transition into being a young adult. My mother has tried to guide me into making smart financial decisions that will help me avoid being overburden with debt. Being financially independent will allow me to have more freedom and less stress which can lead to a happier and more fulfilling life. My mother has shaped me into the person I am today through her wisdom, strength, and encouragement which has had an immeasurable impact on my life and I give it my all everyday to live up to the example she has set. I am grateful and thankful to her for providing me the tools to face challenges of adulthood and strive to make a positive difference in the world.
