Hello, my name is Aramide Shabi, and I am a proud Nigerian-American, born in Silver Spring, Maryland, committed to excellence in academics, leadership, service, and entrepreneurship. I currently hold a 4.1 GPA in 10th grade, following a 4.0 GPA in 9th grade, reflecting strong performance in honors and advanced coursework. My achievements include the Presidential Award, membership in the National Junior Honor Society (8th grade) and National Honor Society (10th grade), and academic honors in World History, Geometry, Anatomy, Theology, Honors Literature & Composition II, Honors Biology, Old Testament, and Honors English Literature. I’ve also received the Christian Character Award and earned $2,000 in school-based scholarships since 9th grade. Beyond academics, I’ve been a dedicated dancer since 7th grade, performing in school and professionally since summer before 10th grade. I’ve served as a Sunday School teacher for ages 4–6 for the past three years, combining leadership and faith. I’m also developing a Christian clothing brand called Chosen Generation, which shares messages of faith and identity through fashion. This summer, I’m enrolled in SAT prep courses to prepare for college and scholarship opportunities. My dream is to become an endocrinologist, inspired by witnessing firsthand how Type 1 Diabetes impacts lives. I hope to help others manage and overcome chronic health challenges through medicine and compassion.
