Hello, my name is Anyah Clayton and I'm pursuing a major in chemical engineering at Arizona State University. It's a challenging and exciting journey for me, especially as a female student in a field traditionally dominated by men. My academic path, marked by a 3.5 GPA, reflects my dedication and hard work. Alongside my studies, I find joy and balance through my favorite hobbies: conducting experiments, dancing, creating art, and making pottery. These activities not only make my life more enjoyable but also help me grow in my engineering studies. Chemical engineering combines chemistry and engineering to solve problems and create new solutions. Since I was young, I've been fascinated by how different substances interact with each other. This curiosity led me to choose chemical engineering as my major. At ASU, I’m learning how to apply these principles in practical ways, from designing chemical processes to solving complex problems.
