Since I was a kid, I have always dreamed of being a realtor. Seeing so many people without homes made me want to make a difference in my neighborhood and for everyone who needs a home. Real estate also got me into my interest in interior design. I love the different concepts of homes and the different designs they have. This passion has driven me to pursue majors in Interior Design and Architecture at Indiana State University. My educational journey has been a mix of challenges and achievements. I graduated high school with a 3.1 GPA. While this may not be the highest, I am proud of it because I worked hard to improve my grades despite facing some personal struggles. I believe that my determination and willingness to learn have been my greatest strengths. I have always been curious and eager to understand how things work, especially in the fields of real estate and design. One of my weaknesses is that I sometimes take on too much at once. I have a lot of interests and I want to explore them all, which can make it hard to focus on one thing at a time. However, I am learning to manage my time better and prioritize my tasks. This is something I am committed to improving as I move forward in my education. My hopes and dreams are centered around making a positive impact on my community. I want to use my skills in real estate and interior design to help people find homes that they love and can afford. I believe that everyone deserves a safe and beautiful place to live. My vision for the future includes starting my own real estate and interior design business that focuses on helping low-income families find and create homes that meet their needs. This scholarship will help me achieve my dreams by providing the financial support I need to focus on my studies. College can be expensive, and this scholarship will ease some of that burden. It will allow me to spend more time on my coursework and less time worrying about how to pay for my education. With this support, I can continue to develop my skills and knowledge in real estate and interior design. In addition to my career goals, I also want to give back to my community in other ways. I plan to volunteer with local organizations that help the homeless and work on community development projects. I believe that by contributing to my community, I can help create a better world for everyone.
