I’m a senior at Nogales High School in California, and I’m planning to study computer science in college to become a software engineer. I’ve always been fascinated by how technology works and how it can solve problems, and I want to be part of creating tools or programs that make life better for people. Outside of school, I spend a lot of my time playing guitar, running, lifting weights, and listening to music. These are things I’m really passionate about—they keep me focused and help me relax. I like pushing myself to improve, whether it’s learning a new song on guitar or trying to beat my personal best in a workout. I think what makes me a strong candidate is that I’m hardworking and curious. I enjoy learning new things and taking on challenges, whether it’s in school, in my hobbies, or in life. I’m always looking for ways to grow and do better, and I’m excited about what’s ahead.
