Hello! My name is Anthony Loredo and I am an artist from Houston TX! I also really love the arts and am very passionate about my own work as well as appreciating those who have set the foundation of art and who continue to inspire the generations to come. I come from a Hispanic family who never really took the arts seriously but now that they can see just how passionate I feel about it, they recognize the fire in me and the ambition that drives me to challenge myself through different medias like painting, drawing or even watercolor painting! This is why I feel that this scholarship will help me in my journey as an artist to help me pay for my education for my passion! Even as I look through Phillip's work, I can tell that he was a magnificent artist and captured such beings incredibly! I also enjoy whimsical and fantasy style artwork as you may see in my work! As for my future plans after high school, I am commited to attend Oberlin College and Conservatory this fall in Ohio, where I will continue my artistic aspirations throughout my college career journey and hopefully become an even better artist.
