As a student with a seizure disorder and a traumatic brain injury, I have faced many struggles with my health throughout my life. However, I do not let this stop my dedication to learning and creating a better world to live in. Since I was a kid, I have always been a leader. I was involved in student council up through high school, nominated and accepted as a People to People Student Ambassador, a shift manager for a restaurant, and inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success. My life goals are to become an engineering manager for an automotive firm while being a successful leader who makes positive changes to better the lives of others. My passion is to achieve these goals so that I can make a positive impact for the world. Unfortunately, the hardest struggle I face is being able to financially support my dreams and goals. I believe what makes me a great candidate for any scholarship is the motivation that I have and the hard work I put into any tasks. I am dedicated to achieving my goals, even if it may take time because of my financial concerns. I currently have a 3.9 grade point average and plan to keep it close to a 4.0 when I graduate.
